Trusted Leader in USB Data Blockers

Our Australian-designed, tested, and validated USB data blocker deliver the highest quality, peace of mind, and industry leading technology to protect against juice jacking and USB hacking. We control our the supply chain to ensure our products are made with the best materials and has been rigorously tested to ensure its reliability and security.

The SecurityBase USB Data Blocker is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to keep their data and devices safe.

  • Protects against juice jacking and prevents any unwanted data transfer between your device and the USB port you are plugged into.

  • The SecurityBase USB Blocker also prevents malware from being installed on your device.

  • Allows faster charging and does not interfere with the charging process, so your device will charge faster or at the same speed as it would without the data blocker.

  • Our USB Data Blocker is small and lightweight, so you can easily carry it with you wherever you go.

  • The blockers are USB-A and USB-C compatible and work with Apple iPhone (incl. iPhone 15), Android and other major brands. They come in black and aluminium, and you can also choose a USB-A to USB-C adaptor.

How USB data blockers work

Our USB power-only adaptors feature proprietary built-in circuitry that isolates the data pins (D+ and D-) while maintaining the connection between the power pins (VCC and GND). This prevents data transfer between your USB device and the USB port, while charge is still provided. Our data blockers are compact and can be plugged in between any USB device and a computer or USB port.

This protects your data from being stolen or corrupted. For example, if you plug your phone into a public USB charging port, a hacker could use a malicious device to steal your data or install malware on your phone.

Data blockers are also useful for protecting your computer from malware. For example, if you plug in a USB drive infected with malware, the malware could spread to your computer.

The technology is simple and effective:

  • A USB port has four pins: two power pins and two data pins.

  • The power pins provide power to the USB device.

  • The data pins allow data to be transferred between the USB device and the computer.

  • A data blocker physically blocks the data pins on a USB port.

USB Data Blocker Testing

We test our USB Data Blockers extensively to ensure that they meet the highest quality and security standards. Our testing process includes the following steps:

  • Functional testing to validate the basic functionality of the Data Blockers to ensure that they properly block data transfer between a USB device and a USB port.

  • Security testing to ensure that the Data Defenders are effective at preventing malware attacks and data breaches.

  • Stress testing to confirm that they can withstand continuous use

  • Compatibility testing to ensure that our devices are compatible with a wide range of devices and operating systems.

All our products come with a 2-year warrantee and Australia-based customer service.
