This tracker tag is designed to be simple, reliable, and easy to use. Setup takes just a few minutes, and once connected, it helps you keep track of your valuables using your phone’s built-in tracking network with no subscriptions or complicated settings.
To activate your tag, or if you need help at any stage, please start with the setup and troubleshooting guide. The guide covers the most common questions, including setup, resetting, and charging.
In case you run into any issues, most connectivity problems can be fixed with a reset. This guide includes clear step-by-step instructions to help you get your tag working quickly.
1. Turn On Your Tracker
- Press the button once
- You should hear a chime confirming that the tracker is switched on
- To switch the tracker off, hold the button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear two beeps
Pairing Your Tracker
- Open the Find My app
- Select the Items tab
- Tap + Add Item
- Select Other Supported Item
- Wait for your tracker to appear
- Tap Connect
- Choose a name and emoji
- Tap Continue
Your tracker is now ready to use.
Finding Your Tracker
Play a Sound
If your item is nearby:
- Open Find My
- Select the Items tab
- Tap your tracker
- Tap Play Sound
The tracker will beep so you can locate it.
View Last Known Location
If your tracker is further away:
- Open Find My
- Select your tracker
- The last known location will appear on the map
- Tap Directions for navigation
Notify When Left Behind
Receive alerts when you leave your tracker behind. To Enable Left Behind Alerts
- Open Find My
- Open your tracker
- Select Notify When Left Behind
- Turn the setting on
You will receive a notification if your phone separates from your tracker.
Lost Mode
Lost Mode helps others return your tracker if it is found. To enable lost mode:
- Open Find My
- Select your tracker
- Scroll down to Lost Mode
- Tap Enable
- Enter your phone number or email address
- Add an optional message
- Tap Activate
When Lost Mode is enabled:
✅ Finder contact information can be shared
✅ Notifications can be sent when detected by other Apple devices
✅ The tracker cannot be paired by someone else
Troubleshooting
Tracker Not Appearing During Setup?
Try these steps:
- Ensure the tracker is turned on
- Move the tracker close to your phone
- Restart the Find My app
- Perform a factory reset (instructions below)
Factory Reset
If setup fails or you want to pair the tracker to a new device:
Step 1: Remove From Find My
- Open Find My
- Open the Items tab
- Select your tracker
- Scroll down
- Tap Remove Item
- Confirm removal
Step 2: Reset The Tracker
- Turn the tracker on
- Press the button 5 times
- On the 5th press, hold the button
- Keep holding until you hear the reset chime
- Release the button
The tracker is now reset and ready to pair again.
Important: The button presses need to be performed at the correct pace. If the presses are too fast or too slow, the reset may not work. If unsuccessful, wait 20 seconds and try again.

- Location updates depend on nearby Apple devices detecting your tracker
