Charging SecurityBase Tracker Cards

To charge the SecurityBase tracker cards:

  • Place the card slightly off centre, as shown in the picture below.
  • The charging coil is located on the left side of the card, so the card may not charge if it is placed directly in the centre of the charger.
  • The LED ring will become solid green when charging the card.
  • Typical full charge time: approximately 1 hour.

Important Notes

  • We recommend using a USB power source of at least 5V/2A. Some low-power USB ports, such as those on computers, laptops, or older wall adapters, may not provide enough power. A standard USB wall plug connected to a power socket usually works well. For faster charging, use a USB-C power adapter and cable. Charging speed depends on the adapter's power output, up to a maximum input of 15V.
  • If charging other items such as phones, remove thick metal cases or magnetic objects before charging.
  • Do not use in high temperatures or damp environments.
  • Use only certified USB adapters for safe operation.

Safety Information

  • Do not disassemble the charger.
  • Keep away from liquids.
  • Disconnect when not in use for extended periods.
