How It Works
The Trackable Luggage Lock connects directly to the Apple Find My network, so you can track your luggage using your iPhone, iPad, or Mac — no additional app required. It works in the same way as an AirTag built into a lock.

Battery life depends on the tracker model. The Trackable TSA Travel Lock uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, the same type commonly used in devices like Apple AirTag. Under normal use, it can last up to 12 months, depending on usage and tracking activity. When the battery runs low, you’ll receive a notification in Apple Find My, and the battery can be easily replaced.
The Tracker Tag has a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts around 5 months per charge, depending on usage and how often the tracker updates. When the battery runs low, simply recharge it and continue using it.

You can open the Find My app to view the tracker’s last known location. If another compatible Apple device passes nearby, the location may update through the Apple Find My network. You can also enable Lost Mode in the Find My app to help with recovery.

Yes. Apple Find My allows you to share an item’s location with other people, depending on your device and iOS version. This can be useful for shared luggage, family items or items used by more than one person.

The tracker securely and anonymously pings its location to nearby Apple devices using Bluetooth, with a range of around 10–30 metres, depending on walls, obstacles and surroundings.
When the tracker is outside your own phone’s Bluetooth range, it still updates its location through the Apple Find My network if it comes within range of another Apple device. This means the tracking range is virtually unlimited, as long as there are Apple devices near the tracker to relay its location.
